Election for Employee Representative in the CA

CAIXA begins the electoral process to choose the employee’s representative on the CAIXA Board of Directors. The election of the director representing employees in the Board of Directors is governed by Law No. 12,353, of December 28, 2010, Law 13,303, of 06/30/2016, by Decree No. 8,945, of 12/27/2016, by Ordinance No. 026/ 2011-MPOG and by the CAIXA Statute. CAIXA’s Bylaws, when establishing the composition of the Board of Directors, in its Article 34, provides for the participation of “a director representing the employees in accordance with Law No. 12,353, of December 28, 2010”, as well as the respective regulations. Rogerio Rodrigues Bimbi

Born in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, he has more than 22 years of experience in credit management and collection, having worked in finance companies, large banks and asset management. She was an independent member of the Board of Directors of Liq Participações and of the Audit Committee of Banco Pan. On June 25, 2019, she took office as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Caixa Econômica Federal. She holds a BA in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ, with a postgraduate degree in Business Management from IBMEC – RJ. On May 5, 2021, he was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Marcelo de Siqueira Freitas

Born in Brasília/DF, he has been a Federal Prosecutor since 2000, he was a Federal Consultant, Federal Deputy Attorney General and Federal Attorney General of the Federal Attorney General’s Office. He also held the position of Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Social Security. He was also Chief Advisor to the Special Advisory Office of the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic and Director of the Legal and Integrity, Controllership and Risk Management Areas of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development – ​​BNDES (2016/2018). He is currently Head of the Special Advisory Service of the Ministry of Economy. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Brasília (UNB) and has several publications in the area of ​​Public Law. On May 23, 2019, he took office as a member of the Board of Directors of Caixa Econômica Federal.

Pricilla Maria Santana

Natural from Brasília/DF, he has been a Specialist in Public Policy and Government Management since 1997, general manager of regulation at the National Land Transport Agency (2002-2005), Assistant Secretary of the Economic Monitoring Department (2007-2015). Currently, she is Undersecretary of Intergovernmental Financial Relations of the National Treasury Secretariat. She is president of the Fiscal Councils of the BNDES System. He holds a master’s degree in Tax Law from the Catholic University of Brasília. She holds a degree in Economics and History from the University of Brasília (UNB) and in Law from the Associação Ensino Unificado do Distrito Federal. On August 30, 2021, she took office as a member of the Board of Directors of Caixa Econômica Federal

Maria Rita Serrano

Born in Santo André/SP, she has been a CAIXA employee since 1989, and has held several positions. She was a professor in Public Administration courses. She was president of the ABC Bank Employees Union for two terms, between 2006 and 2012. She has been working for more than 30 years in the social movement and in defense of public assets. In 2017, she was elected Board Member by employees, shortly after ending her term as an alternate, which began in 2013, when the first election for this role at CAIXA was held. In 2018 she launched the book CAIXA, Banco dos Brasileiros, where she rescues the centenary history of the bank and its importance for the development of Brazil, in the same year she co-authored the book Se é Público é para todos. In 2007, she had already released a book focused on the socioeconomic development of the ABC region of São Paulo, the result of academic research. She holds a degree in History and Social Studies, a Masters in Business Administration and a specialization in Governance for Board Members. In 2019, she was re-elected in the 1st shift as employee representative on the Board of Directors for the term of office in the 2020/2022 biennium.

Carlos Roberto de Albuquerque Sá

Born in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, he was External Auditor at Arthur Andersen, EY and KPMG, Controller, Financial Director and Risk and Internal Audit Director at multinationals. He returned to KPMG as Managing Partner, working as a consultant specializing in Risks, Internal Controls, Sarbanes-Oxley, Compliance and Internal Audit, having retired from KPMG in 2010. He was a professor of Corporate Risks and Compliance at the MBA at FAAP and worked as a member of the Fiscal Council at Banco do Brasil and at Itaú-Unibanco. He is currently a member of the Audit Committee Institute, serves as a member of the Fiscal Council at CEMIG S / A, coordinates the Audit Committees at M. Dias Branco S / A, Camil Alimentos S / A. and Marisa Lojas S/A, and is a professor at IBGC, teaching classes on Corporate Risk Management in courses for Board Members. He holds a degree in Economic Sciences and Accounting Sciences with a postgraduate degree in finance from PUC in Rio de Janeiro. He is a member of the Fiscal Council and Board of Directors certified by the IBGC. On June 10, 2020, he took office as an independent member of the Board of Directors.

Istvan Karoly Kasznar

Born in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, he is General Advisor to the Presidency of Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV and, since 1987, he has been the Full Professor of Economics and Administration at that institution. Since 1983, he has been the Economics and Planning Coordinator of the Association and Union of Banks of the State of Rio de Janeiro – ABERJ. Author and co-author of 23 books, he is a visiting professor and lecturer at institutions and universities in Brazil and abroad. From 1981 to 1984, he was Credit Manager at Banco de Investimento CREDIBANCO. From 1983 to 1986, he was Credit Manager, Risk Analyst, Advisor to the Commercial and Risk Board and Advisor to the Presidency of Banco Francês e Brasileiro, having worked in the creation and capitalization of the Brazilian Futures Exchange – BBF. Between 1985 and 1986, he was a Senior Economist at Citibank N.A. and an instructor at the Latin American Banking Group. From 1986 to 1993, he was a Consultant to the World Bank, with missions in Brazil, the United States, Bolivia and other countries. From 2005 to 2009, he was chief economist of the National Association of Credit, Financing and Investment Institutions – ACREFI. He is currently a counselor at the Dannemann Siemsen Institute – IDS, the Brazilian Beneficent Rehabilitation Association – ABBR, among others. He holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ and in Business Administration from the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration – EBAPE. He is a Master and holds a Doctorate course in Economics from the Graduate School of Economics – EPGE at FGV. He holds a PhD – Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from California Coast University, United States of America. On May 3, 2021, he took office as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Caixa Econômica Federal.
